We want them to learn to open it, read it, understand it, remember it, and build their lives on its truth.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crossoverok.com\/index.php\/bible-quest\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"609\">Click here for more information on Bible Quest.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning That Kids Look Forward To<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe kids learn best when they are engaged. That\u2019s why Crossover Kids combines serious biblical teaching with plenty of fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every week includes activities designed to reinforce what the kids are learning. There may be crafts, games, challenges, Scripture memory, Bible questions, sword drills, treats, tickets, and prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone gets a treat, and everyone has opportunities to participate and earn prizes. Winning can be fun, but no child has to be the fastest, smartest, or most outgoing to belong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want kids excited to come back\u2014not just because they had fun, but because they are becoming excited about <strong>God and His Word.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Safe and Caring Environment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We know that when parents bring their children to church, they are trusting us with someone incredibly important to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We take that responsibility seriously. All of our leaders undergo a background check and our students, kids, and adults check in every Sunday night and receive a name tag and the kids receive a security pickup ticket. One of the best parts of meeting in a school is that they have a security camera system. We also have a 2 leader policy where kids and students must be with at least two leaders. Combine all of this with an open concept floor plan, many windows, and a relatively small church, we take the safety of every child seriously and use multiple safeguards to help provide a safe and caring environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our goal is to provide an environment that is safe, organized, welcoming, and appropriate for children while they learn about Jesus and the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also want parents to feel comfortable asking questions, meeting the leaders who work with their children, and letting us know about anything that would help us better care for their child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Than Just Bible Stories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We certainly want kids to know Noah, Moses, David, Daniel, Peter, Paul, and the other people and events they encounter throughout Scripture. But ultimately, Crossover Kids is about something much bigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want children to understand the story of the Bible\u2014the story of God's creation, humanity's sin, God's plan of redemption, and the good news of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As children grow, our prayer is that they will not simply know Bible facts but will understand the Gospel, trust Christ, love God's Word, and learn what it means to follow Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join Us!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would love for your family to be part of Crossover Kids!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sunday 10:00 AM \u2014 Family Worship<\/strong><br>Kids worship with their parents. After you cross <strong>Piedmont Road<\/strong>, continue approximately <strong>1 mile west<\/strong> on NW Expressway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turn <strong>right (north) onto Northwood Drive<\/strong>. Northwood Elementary will be immediately on your <strong>right<\/strong>. Turn <strong>right into the school parking lot<\/strong> and look for the <strong>red welcome flags<\/strong>.
